Location
The flight takes place at the aerodrome of La Roche-sur-Yon, located in Vendée, France, approximately 60 km (37 miles) south of Nantes and 80 km (50 miles) north of La Rochelle. This region provides diverse landscapes, including coastline, forests, and open countryside, making it an ideal setting for high-speed aerial maneuvers.

The Fighter jet experience
Pre-Flight Preparation
Upon arrival at the aerodrome, you will meet your experienced pilot and support team. The experience begins with:
- A detailed briefing on flight safety and jet operations.
- Suiting up in a flight suit, helmet, and anti-G pants.
- A practical introduction to the L-39 Albatros, including cockpit instrumentation.
Flight Options
You can choose between 30, 45, or 60-minute flights. All flight times include taxiing. The longer the flight, the more advanced the maneuvers.
In-Flight Experience
After taxiing to the runway, the jet takes off, quickly reaching cruising speed. The pilot performs a series of maneuvers, including:
- Steep turns
- Low-level flying over scenic landscapes
- Aerobatic maneuvers such as rolls and loops (weather permitting)
- High-speed passes over the aerodrome
If weather conditions allow, the flight may include a coastal segment over the Atlantic Ocean and the marshlands of Olonne.


Optional: Take the Controls
For an additional €300 (£255 / $325), you can take partial control of the aircraft. Under the guidance of the instructor, you will handle the stick for about half of the flight, excluding takeoff, landing, and aerobatic sections.
