The Fighter Jet Experience
Flight Options
Participants can choose from three flight durations:
- 30 minutes: A concise introduction to flying a fighter jet, offering a taste of high-speed maneuvers.
- 45 minutes: Extends the adventure, allowing you to reach the stunning Calanques of Marseille, approximately 80 kilometers (50 miles) from Avignon.
- 60 minutes: The most comprehensive experience, providing ample time to explore the skies over the French Riviera and beyond.
In-Flight Experience
Upon arrival, you’ll meet a team of passionate professionals who will guide you through a pre-flight briefing. This session covers safety protocols, flight plans, and an introduction to the L-39 Albatros aircraft.
Once prepared, you’ll don your flight suit and board the jet. The experienced pilot will handle takeoff and demonstrate various maneuvers, including rolls, loops, and high-speed passes. For those seeking a hands-on experience, there’s an option to take control of the aircraft under the pilot’s supervision. This add-on is available for an additional €300 (approximately £260 or $340).
Throughout the flight, you’ll experience the sensations of a fighter pilot, feeling the G-forces as you navigate the skies. The panoramic views of the South of France, including the azure coastline and rugged landscapes, add to the unforgettable nature of this adventure.


Optional: Take the Controls
For an additional €300 (£255 / $325), you can take partial control of the aircraft. Under the guidance of the instructor, you will handle the stick for about half of the flight, excluding takeoff, landing, and aerobatic sections.
