What to Expect

Your aerobatics flight near Nantes begins at La Roche sur Yon aerodrome. Upon arrival, you’ll meet your pilot, a former world aerobatics champion, who will guide you through the experience. After a full safety briefing, including parachute use and flight procedures, you’ll be fitted with a flight suit, helmet, and harness.

You’ll board the Extra 330 LX, a certified aerobatic aircraft capable of extreme manoeuvres and speeds of up to 405 km/h (252 mph). The flight lasts about 20 minutes, with 10 minutes dedicated to aerobatic figures. Your pilot will tailor the intensity based on your responses and comfort level during the flight.

You can choose between three flight levels:

Types of Aerobatic Flights

Recognition Flight
You will experience accelerations from +5g to -1g while performing the classic aerobatic manoeuvres: loop, roll, stall turn, Immelmann, inverted flight, snap roll recovery, reversal, and barrel roll.

Combat Flight
If you’re looking for more and already have some aerobatic experience, this flight is for you. The programme includes the double avalanche, vertical rotations, spin, and bell manoeuvre—your only chance to fly in reverse. Prepare to endure +6.5g positive and -3g negative forces.

Extreme Flight
Reserved for true enthusiasts. This programme includes competition and freestyle figures: positive and negative snap rolls, vertical rolls, bucking, flat spin, bell manoeuvre, inverted loop, and the famous Torque Roll, where the aircraft climbs in a vertical roll before descending backwards. Accelerations reach +8g and -6g.

Throughout the ride, you’ll enjoy aerial views of the Vendée coastline, if weather allows.

After landing, you’ll return to base for a short debrief. If you’ve selected the video option, you can watch your flight footage on-site. You’ll also receive a diploma as a memento of your extreme flight experience Vendée.

About the Aircraft
The Extra 330 LX is a two-seater aerobatic aircraft designed for advanced manoeuvres. Built with a lightweight carbon-fibre structure and a powerful 315 hp engine, it delivers exceptional performance and control. Its low-wing configuration and conventional landing gear make it stable yet highly agile. Certified by EASA, the Extra 330 LX is widely used in international competitions and by professional pilots. It reaches speeds up to 405 km/h (252 mph) and can handle extreme G-forces, both positive and negative.
