What to Expect
Board your 18-metre (59 ft) catamaran at Port Blanc, where your professional skipper welcomes you. The boat is wide and very stable (10 metres / 33 ft), offering excellent comfort with its large trampoline at the front and safe rear seating areas. Depending on the option selected, you’ll spend between 2 and 8 hours sailing through the Gulf of Morbihan , known for its hundreds of small islands and scenic coastlines.
The half-day cruise (3 hours) gives you time to explore either the western Gulf—around Berder Island, Île de la Jument, and Île aux Moines—or the eastern side with Arradon and Île d’Arz. During the cruise, you’ll enjoy a local apéritif and a plate of accras (Caribbean fritters).
If you choose the full-day experience , you’ll leave port around 9:00. You’ll sail through the gulf, exit into the Atlantic between Port-Navalo and Locmariaquer , and head to Île de Houât . Here, you can go ashore, walk, swim, and explore the island at your own pace. After several hours, return to the boat for a second apéritif on the way back to Port Blanc.
This is a quiet and enjoyable way to explore one of the most distinctive maritime areas in France.
